We’re excited to work with students who can help us not only brainstorm, but also execute a strategy to: Become the trusted source for training about building resiliency through Trauma-Informed Practice Uplift Learning Inc. is looking for team(s) or individual(s) to determine proposal concepts by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs, studying requests for proposal (RFPs), preparing a draft grant proposal or a joint venture proposal. This individual/team is/are adept at researching, has a positive can do attitude, and is self directed while enjoying working in a small team. Following a strength-based approach, primary projects can include: Reviews Academic databases, scholarly journals, world wide web, google scholar, and other sources for research and articles of the effects of Covid-19 on health, education and business sectors. Researches contacts and develop campaign for reaching out to unions, registering bodies for Continuing Education Units/Credits, licensing bodies for health and wellness professionals and businesses that could benefit from our course Caring For You: Building Resiliency Through Trauma-Informed Practice. Book keeping, forecasting, and administration tasks. Review and improvements on systems. Tracking and monitoring sales funnels. Prepares proposals by determining concept, gathering and formatting information, writing drafts, and obtaining approvals. Gathers proposal information by identifying sources of information, coordinating submissions and collections, and identifying and communicating risks associated with proposals. Develops proposal by assembling information including project nature, objectives/outcomes/deliverables, implementation, methods, timetable, staffing, budget, standards of performance, and evaluation. Writes, revises, and edits drafts including executive summaries, conclusions, and organization credentials. This list is not exhaustive. We will be asking many varied tasks and are open to suggestions for projects from the students based on their observations. This person should be comfortable working in Academic Databases, google scholar, researching online, copywriting and using websites like the following (https://imbacanada.com/list-of-canadian-grants/) . Quickbooks skills are an asset. An essential skill for this is research and problem solving. You're comfortable figuring out how to do things you don't know how to do using google and other online resources. Web Design and LMS Course Production Assistant

We’re excited to work with students who can help us not only brainstorm, but also execute a strategy to: Become the trusted source for training about building resiliency through Trauma-Informed Practice Our team is looking for two students to support minor web design Wordpress edits who has a passion for detail and design. Ideally, someone who wants to gain experience in social e-Learning delivery through Learning Management Systems (Thinkific). This internship is responsible for the support, design, development, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of content, assets, and other resources used for instructional functions. This individual is very tech savvy, has a positive can do attitude, and is self directed while enjoys working in a small team. Following a strength-based approach, primary projects can include: 1.Minor changes to our Wordpress site: Create a blog page Make some small design edits to banners Ensure all is functioning optimally Support in SEO keywords on the website Measuring and optimizing our paid marketing using vendor-specific dashboards, Google Analytics, and marketing analytics reports. Develops a branded email template in Mailchimp using CSS and HTML. 2. Learning Management System Configuration: Configuration of the Thinkific LMS including functionality, appearance, tabs, and settings. Develop a custom theme in the LMS using brand style guide and look and feel of our existing site using Photoshop, HTML and CSS. Identifies and communicates opportunities for process and quality improvements, providing feedback on usage, defects, and suggested enhancements. Acquires and maintains knowledge of current technology as it applies to LMS software and systems. Works with Project Coordinator and Instructional Designers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the LMS and course content. 3. Course Production Follows an existing course production process. Comfortable receiving constructive client feedback. Practicing active listening skills and question asking to find solutions. Translates instructional content from MSWord or Google Docs into visual or interactive content using tools and platforms such as powerpoint, facebook social learning groups, Adobe Captivate or Equivalent, Photoshop, Padlet, Mindmeister. Translates learning modules from MSWord or Google Docs to the LMS to produce the course. This can include things like navigation, page layout, setting up discussions, evaluations, importing media, testing content, adjusting settings and technical troubleshooting. The goal is to produce an entire course that is ready to launch. This person should be comfortable working in HTML, CSS, Photoshop and Wordpress. Previous experience in Mailchimp and Thinkific would be an asset. An essential skill for this position is trouble shooting and problem solving. You're comfortable figuring out how to do things you don't know how to do using google and other online resources. It's possible we'll engage two individuals for this project. In collaboration, one intern would handle graphics while the other focuses on more technical work. This is a great project for students to prove their web finesse and understanding of LMS platforms to future employers, as the impact of their work on this project can be easily measured and communicated. This individual/team is/are adept at researching, has a positive can do attitude, and is self directed while enjoying working in a small team. Following a strength-based approach, primary projects can include: Developing a PR Campaign for our new course Building Resilience Through Trauma Informed Practice Exploring direct marketing and Internet, as well as other media and communication vehicles. Understanding and highlighting global communications considerations and issues. Recommending changes to advertising and PR materials for improved the consistency across your organization’s existing marketing campaign. Develop a marketing campaign for a new product or service. Develop a social media or new media campaign to complement existing marketing communications. We need students who want to focus their skills on the following areas: Visual communication (e.g. graphic design, web content creation, magazines, photography, etc.) Mass media (e.g. television, radio, film, video, magazines, and newspapers) Business and professional written communication (e.g. public relations, technical writing, report and proposal writing, advertising copy, etc.) Interpersonal communication (e.g. counseling, leadership opportunities, coaching, cross-cultural experiences) Public address (e.g. speaking) This list is not exhaustive.
