Ernestina Malheiro is the Founder and Educationalist at Uplift Learning Inc. A passionate educator and mental health advocate, she’s been on a 20-year mission to explore the role of education in mental and emotional health. Her experiences and MA research into trauma have led her to recognize the challenges faced by people trying to access appropriate, trauma-informed services. We have over 20 years experience in elearning, curriculum design, instructional design, emental health and training.

We’re excited to work with students who can help us not only brainstorm, but also execute a strategy to: Become the trusted source for training about building resiliency through Trauma-Informed Practice Our team is looking for a social media marketing wizard who can help us drive more traffic and improve our SEO positioning. This individual is very tech savvy, has a positive can do attitude, and is self directed while enjoys working in a small team. The primary project requirements include: 1.Social media marketing strategy: Refine and execute social media marketing strategy Refine and connect marketing outcomes, existing brand messaging, strategy, tactics Developing a system to track results for tactics like: Keyword analysis to determine relevant search terms to our organization Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) requirements to ensure our organization appears on the first page of Google for relevant keywords Using social media to increase the number of followers/likes and shares Measuring and optimizing our paid marketing using vendor-specific dashboards, Google Analytics, and marketing analytics reports. 2. Content Calendar Creation and Execution: Develop and plan a social media content calendar Create social media content/posts using our SEO keywords about topics like: Tips and best practice about Trauma Informed Practice, Resiliency, Compassion Fatigue, Secondary Traumatic Stress/Vicarious Trauma, Self-care, trauma-stewardship, emotional health, mental health (we’ll point you in the right direction and provide you with a few quick resources to get up to speed) Posts about new research pertaining to the above topics. Timely deployment of social media content to all platforms to drive maximum traffic to our site This person should be open to working with tools and platforms such as Google Scholar, Academic library databases, Mailchimp, Facebook, Typeform, LinkedIn, Instagram, Wordpress and Thinkific. Any previous experience in any or all of these platforms is an asset. This is a great project for students to prove their digital marketing expertise to future employers, as the impact of their work on this project can be easily measured and communicated. Following a strength-based approach, primary projects can include: Researches contacts and develop campaign for reaching out to unions, registering bodies for Continuing Education Units/Credits, licensing bodies for health and wellness professionals and businesses that could benefit from our course Caring For You: Building Resiliency Through Trauma-Informed Practice. Review and suggest improvements on systems. Tracking and monitoring sales funnels. Sales recommendations with supporting executable action steps. This list is not exhaustive. We will be asking many varied tasks and are open to suggestions for projects from the students based on their observations. Book keeping, forecasting, and administration tasks. Review and improvements on systems. Tracking and monitoring sales funnels. Prepares proposals by determining concept, gathering and formatting information, writing drafts, and obtaining approvals. Gathers proposal information by identifying sources of information, coordinating submissions and collections, and identifying and communicating risks associated with proposals. Develops proposal by assembling information including project nature, objectives/outcomes/deliverables, implementation, methods, timetable, staffing, budget, standards of performance, and evaluation. Writes, revises, and edits drafts including executive summaries, conclusions, and organization credentials. This list is not exhaustive. We will be asking many varied tasks and are open to suggestions for projects from the students based on their observations.
