Silver Meridian Market Expansion Report
The main goal for this project is to create a United States based market expansion report for Silver Meridian, a company that provides training, coaching and consulting services to the nursing home sector, focusing primarily on leadership practices and culture change. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: - Researching the current market for Silver Meridian's services in the United States. - Analyzing the potential for growth in the United States market. - Identifying potential customer segments and target markets. - Developing strategies for expanding Silver Meridian's services in the United States. - Identifying potential partners and resources that could help Silver Meridian expand in the United States.
UX/UI - Revamp Online Educational Program
The goal of this project is to revamp the design and functionality of Silver Meridian's existing online educational program, using the Captivate software program. Additionally, develop a promotional animated video for this program. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: - Analyzing Silver Meridian's existing online educational program and identifying areas for improvement. - Developing a new design and functionality for the program using the Captivate software program. - Creating a promotional animated video for the program. - Testing the program and making improvements based on feedback.
Basic Database Management System Design
The main goal of this project is to create a basic database management tool to manage our existing client contacts and provide a seamless method to add new contacts, and to bulk edit existing contacts by merging new data via an Excel spreadsheet or .csv file. This project will involve several different steps for the students, including: Attending a discovery meeting with Silver Meridian to assess our needs Based on the discovery results, research and report on the best software or technical method to achieve our goals Design and build the database management system Test and make improvements based on feedback from Silver Meridian Advise on how to deploy the system Train a Silver Meridian staff member on how to use the system What the system will need to do: accept new bulk data via upload of a CSV or Excel file accept new single record entries accept single record edits integrate bulk data edits via upload of of a CSV or Excel file (this is actually our biggest pain point with using our existing contacts list which is an Excel spreadsheet) search functionality to search for contacts based on any and all fields Secondary functionality (Nice to Haves) simple data analysis - ie: records that match specific criteria (geographic location, category, etc) simple UI dashboard for reporting on data analysis
