Establish an Internal HR Function

We want to ensure we have up-to-date HR practices and procedures. We want to make sure that we outshine industry competitors and help our employees achieve success with the support of an HR function. In addition to being more compelling than our competition, we would like our HR policies and procedures to uphold our company culture, accelerate the learning curve, and increase retention. Students should be prepared to: Research our existing HR practices to determine their effectiveness and opportunities for improvement. Research the HR practices of competitors. Research what HR components are most impactful for our employees. Develop a standardized HR policies and procedures manual. Project Hours and Teams: • Either two teams of two OR 4 Individuals • Total of 320 Hours

Diversity, Inclusion, Antiracism Framework

CHALLENGE: We would like to understand the market norms for Workplace Inclusion, Diversity & Equality policies for companies of our size in our industry. We would also like to develop a framework from which we can begin to incorporate and embed these practices into our operations and culture. EXPECTED OUTCOME: (1) An overview of the standard WIDE policies (2) Best practices and recommendations (3) A Draft WIDE policy document for Keill & Co (4) A draft WIDE framework (strategic plan) for developing and implementing a program Hours and Requirements: We expect this project to take a minimum of 240 hours - we are happy to accept 3 applicants (individuals who will become a team or a team of 3) X 80 Hours Each.
