Brian is a 1996 graduate of Mansfield University and has a BS in Geography with an emphasis on Environmental Science and a Minor in Biology. Brian has served as the Watershed Specialist for the Crawford County Conservation District for the past 24 years. While at the District Brian has had the opportunity to work with a number of excellent lake and watershed associations within the region. Brian has served locally as the Conservation District Representative for the Conneaut Lake Aquatic Management Association and Pymatuning Lake Association boards. Brian has also served as a board member with the Pennsylvania Lake Management Society since 2000 as Western Region Director and twice as President Elect, President, and then Past-President. Brian has over 24 years of experience with grant writing and project management, informal environmental education as well as coordinating large scale volunteer restoration and survey projects.

Riparian Restoration and Matienance with CCCD
Students will learn about riparian restoration in northwest Pennsylvania. Learners will actively participate in the project, and will: Evaluate Success of riparian restoration projects established under the Crawford County Streambank Reforestation Program in northwest Pennsylvania. Conduct maintenance activities on planting projects in northwest Pennsylvania.
Riparian Restoration Area evaluation and maintenance
Participants will have an opportunity to learn about riparian restoration goals and objectives. Learners will also be able to actively participate in the project by assisting with the following tasks: To evaluate the success of riparian restoration projects established under the Crawford County Streambank Reforestation Program in northwest Pennsylvania. To conduct maintenance activities on planting projects in northwest Pennsylvania.
