PROJECT DESCRIPTION/DESCRIPTION DU PROJET: Creating Content for Online Presence: Humane Gains is a health and fitness nutrition supplement start-up company. We are family-owned and our mission is to help people reach their health and fitness goals while supporting and promoting the ethical treatment of animals via ethically sourced nutrition supplements. Any animal-derived ingredient that is found within our nutrition supplements will be sourced from Certified Humane farms and suppliers; our customers can rest assured we are compliant with Certified Humane standards as our products will have earned the Certified Humane logo which will proudly be displayed on our product labels and is the very foundation to our brand's existence. We are seeking eager, motivated students who align with our values for ethical nutrition, and who are excited to be a part of a start-up fitness nutrition supplement company about to make waves in the industry in a currently untapped opportunity. Our journey will involve multiple, interconnected projects with the first project focusing on market research: identifying and analyzing the competition and current trends in the industry, getting clarity on who our ideal clients are, what their pain points are, where and how we can best communicate with them, obtain details about their current buying habits and how our company can over-deliver on serving their needs on the customer journey. The current project will use the findings from market research to develop and source content that serves and appeals to the target audience identified that can be saved for posts throughout the upcoming months on our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) and on our website. (Website development also included in this project- template currently available). Mainstream Media - Investigate mainstream media channels (ie. low-cost magazine articles, news outlets, online media channels) that can maximize product exposure and create a sales funnel. Our goal at the end of this experience is: Branding and Marketing Communications - For the student(s) to help us improve our brand's presence and capture greater market share specially in Canada. Market Research - For the student(s) to help us gain a better understanding of our target market and ensure we are optimally positioned and our product and pricing aligns with our target sector/customer specifically in the US. Public Relations - For the student(s) to help us effectively communicate our brand's story and mission to a broad audience. Prospecting Strategy - For the student(s) to help us implement better prospecting that increases conversion rates and boost our sales team's performance.
