Validating National Occupational Classification Data

As the leading job board in Atlantic Canada, CareerBeacon has built an internal tool to automatically classify the jobs that appear on our job board using the National Occupational Classification (NOC) system developed by the Government of Canada. Linking CareerBeacon jobs to a NOC code, ensures that the jobs are then distributed to the Job Bank of Canada, expanding the reach and impact of the job opportunities. Not all of the jobs are correctly classified via the internal tool and need human verification/re-mapping of incorrectly associated NOC codes. As a result, we are seeking students to help us verify the accuracy of the data and re-map incorrect data using the internal tool we have created for this purpose.
