The approach adopted includes lectures, case analyses, and action learning through group efforts. These develop skills for strategic thinking and analysis, in leadership, communication, teamwork, and cross-functional integration.

The students will be working in groups of 4-6 members and apply the theoretical knowledge to help the Organization explore the marketing avenues, find solutions for the existing marketing challenges and build an effective marketing plan. On top of that, students will conduct market research, incorporating both primary and secondary data.

In this project, students will apply their knowledge in international marketing to help your organization seize a global marketing opportunity, develop a strategic international marketing plan, or solve a current global marketing challenge. They can particularly focus on gathering international market intelligence, conducting a cultural and economic analysis of your chosen foreign market, developing entry strategy mode, and developing competitive international marketing strategies. Upon completion of the project, you will receive a detailed report and presentation.

Based on a combination of internal and external factors, the teams will complete an analysis and provide strategic recommendations, practical options, and design an action plan appropriate to your business situation. As a participating organization, you will provide a specific question, topic, challenge, or opportunity that will be the focus for review, analysis, and recommendations by the team.

Based on a combination of internal and external factors, the teams will complete an analysis and provide strategic recommendations, practical options, and design an action plan appropriate to your business situation. As a participating organization, you will provide a specific question, topic, challenge, or opportunity that will be the focus for review, analysis, and recommendations by the team.

This semester students working in groups of 5 to 6 will apply their knowledge in digital marketing to helping your organization develope a digital marketing campaign, develop a strategic digital marketing plan, or solve a current digital marketing challenge. Students explore proven practical examples of strategy selection, implementation, and management, and how competitive advantage is created and leveraged over time and distance in the context of rapidly evolving technologies and practice.

The Course: Post graduate MBA students take this introductory HRM course and working with Riipen clients enables them to gain opportunities to apply HR theory and principles. Course Structure: The course runs on a 11 week term, both on and off line, and students work in Learning Teams (LT) of between 2 and 5 students. Normally 2 LTs work on each Riipen project. -Spring Term 2021 runs from April 12 to July 4 2021. Key milestones include: Week 2 - 1st Meeting between Riipen client and LT of students to fill any information gaps. Week 4 - Submission of formal Proposal/Action Plan by the LT to the Riipen Client to which formal feedback and evaluation is provided by the client. Week 9: Submission of Final Report by the LT to the Riipen Client to which formal feedback and evaluation is provided by the client. Virtual Internship Opportunity for MBA students: Bring on one or more students from the Vancouver-based University of Canada West (UCW) in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program to be your virtual interns, in a project-based experience. Students will work on one or more business projects of your choosing over the internship period, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Students are available from January to April . After identifying a challenge, students propose ways to solve it and build a strategic plan. They present a video story outlining their activities, their contribution to the organization, analysis of the internship experience, and their recommendations for a solution to the challenge. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, virtual student placements are preferred. In-person student placements will be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on local COVID-19 restrictions.

Do you have an e-Commerce / Digital Marketing challenge you would like to tackle? In the course, student-consultants will develop a digital marketing plan and devise a strategy to drive more traffic, customer leads, and / or online sales. The students come with knowledge of all major aspects of digital marketing, including selling products and services online, search engine optimization, social media marketing, and executing pay per click advertising. They synthesize this understanding to apply digital marketing principles, techniques and tools towards developing more effective and complete marketing programs.
