EV BMS Research position Mohawk College

• Worked in a team to research and develop a Battery Management System (BMS) for electric vehicles (EVs).
• Utilized lab equipment such as a battery cycler and other testing tools to analyze battery performance.
• Investigated optimal charging methods and regenerative braking technology to improve charging efficiency and reduce energy loss.
• Focused on strategies to accelerate battery charge times while maintaining safety and longevity.

2D Vision Based Sorting using Fanuc Robotic Arm
January 2025 - April 2025

• Collaborated in a team to design and implement a robotic work cell capable of detecting and sorting two different part types using 2D vision process guidance.
• Developed a vision system to identify and classify octagonal-shaped objects (Type 1) and small "B" parts (Type 2), ensuring accurate placement in a predefined grid pattern.
• Configured and calibrated a camera system, optimizing parameters such as standoff distance, focal length, lighting conditions, and field of view (FOV) for accurate part recognition.
• Programmed and tested the robot motion sequences in Roboguide, ensuring efficient pick-and-place operations while minimizing errors.
• Performed real-time calibration and troubleshooting during the final demonstration, adjusting user frames, tool offsets, and vision parameters as needed.

Designed and Manufactured 125 lb Robot at FIRST Robotics

• Collaborated with a team of students and mentors by designing an intake subsystem of the robot from scratch at FIRST Robotics Club.
• Utilized AutoCAD inventor to create 3D models of the sub-system and ran simulated stress tests.
