Level Up: Digital Content Creation, Website Development
Positions Available: 5. We would like develop/improve a website for our organization. The current platform is GoDaddy (activelearn.ca) We would like to work with students to develop a beautiful, easy-to-navigate, well-organized and informative website for us to inform and interact with our customers. Students should be prepared to: · Create a design proposal including mock-ups, budget, and timeline. · Build a fully-functioning website that aligns with our needs and requirements. The functional website should be compatible with mobile device viewing and formatting. · Provide training on updating and maintaining the site. · Accurately translate the pages of the websites into selected languages. · Develop plug ins such as booking an appointment online and updating the schedule.

SEO and Social Media Marketing Improvement Plan
Positions Available: 2-3 Students Project Scope 1) Research - Gain familiarity with the context (company goals, competitive landscape, industry trends) 2) Assessment – using SEO tools, current best practices with Google’s latest changes, and assessment of Werrv;’s current website, provide an assessment of strengths and weaknesses of current techniques and recommend most valuable path to improvement to achieve both improved search results and customer satisfaction. 3) SEO Improvement Plan - Over the duration of the project, starting from assessment and working through experimentation, implementation, validation, provide a written plan, including recommended tools to use techniques to targets cost effectively. 4) Social Media – Assess which are the best social media platforms, beyond Facebook to engage our target audiences with prioritization around the best value for effort for Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Linked In, Pinterest, TikTok and possibly others. Recommend a “voice” and “style” to target key customer personas (see background notes for persona descriptions in the RV industry. Our website platform is Shopify and we will give you access to the website and other organizational assets to support this project. Work can be completed remotely and online brainstorming and update meetings can be done via Microsoft Teams, Zoom or other preferred platforms. Timely meeting access and response to questions will be provided, including by text, or on-line communication tools.

Build a WordPress Secure Client Portal
Positions Available: 1 Student We are looking to work with a creative and ambitious student who has extensive experience with WordPress and wants to try something new. WordPress is an amazing front facing website development environment, but what we want is a Secure Client Portal ( https://wpbuffs.com/wordpress-client-portal-plugins/ ) for our business partners to engage with us in a private way. Uses of the private portal include setting up promotions, exchanging files, displaying private dashboards, accessing content not intended for public presentation, running online training programs and many more secure and private uses. Project Scope 1) Context & Goal Setting – The project is to develop a secure Business-to-Business Client Portal in WordPress to perform a range of functions like those noted above. Specifics are considered business secrets and will be provided at commencement of the project, together with some brainstorming and goal setting. You will play an instrumental role in bringing your WordPress experience to the table and helping to choose the best path forward. 2) Development – set up sandbox, staging and production WordPress environments at the appropriate times. Play in the sandbox to test tool and plug-ins and finalize the optimal configuration to achieve the business goals agreed in step 1. Build a staging environment and work to QA the system with user feedback. Refine and tweak in an agile fashion to implement production grade version 1.0 of the portal. 3) Bonus - If time permits, the student is familiar with Shopify’s GraphQL API, or wants to learn, they may be given the opportunity to work with to load of data into the Werrv store backend.
