Virtual Projects and Placements in Health and Exercise Science

HMKN 401

May 13, 2021 - Jul 1, 2021

Fourth-year students from the School of Health and Exercise Sciences at University of British Columbia are available to be your virtual interns, in a project- or virtual service-based experience. Students will engage in a project or service of your choosing over the internship period, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Students must complete a minimum of 40 hours from May 10 to June 30, 2021. They are able to work individually or in groups of 2 with mentorship/supervision. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, student placements will only occur virtually. These project or service offerings are part of the community placement experience, where students obtain practical experience in a supervised health or human kinetics work setting with a cooperating agency, private business or industry. After requesting and confirming our course, we will ask all companies to complete this short project template form to confirm a few details prior to starting.
