Virtual Internship: Website Design

Our organization is able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for a student or team of students. We at Top Savings would like a new website that provides some of the information and functionality found in our mobile app. The new website will offer deals, search, shopping list, user profile, settings, registration, and authentication. The scope of the project is: Research: Review current app, deal sites, and grocery store websites to get a feel for the space. Architect site map. Decide what screens and features are needed. Design website wireframe Mockup website By the end of the project the student will deliver wireframe designs and possibly a website mockup.

Food Delivery App UI/UX Design

We at Speedy Snacks would like to design & create a new tablet app that will be used by our fulfillment partners to receive orders, set menu items, and view reports. Currently we use third party apps but would like to develop our own app that's designed specifically for convenience stores rather than restaurants and combines multiple delivery partners in one app. We use webflow to design but are open to any tools you would like to use.

UI/UX design for a study space finder

After conducting research on University students, we have found that a considerable amount of them struggle to find an ideal study space. Some issues we have identified are lighting, general occupancy, and noise level. To solve this issue, our team has decided to build a platform for students to find their ideal study space, based on their preferences. The study space can range from libraries and Campus buildings, all the way to parks and cafes.

Research Assistant for a Career Accelerator

Number of individual students required: 4 Students at Accelerate Her Future will be provided with an opportunity to work with us on conducting and analyzing research the experiences of Black, Indigenous and racialized women, developing infographics, social media assets and contributing to our impact reporting process. The student will be exposed to a variety of skills and experiences to enhance their knowledge of primary and secondary critical thinking and analysis, research methodology, survey design, design thinking, and written communication. Who are we looking for? Ideally you have lived experience and ‘insider knowledge’ of the communities we serve at the core of our mission. You are inspired by our mission and like working within a collaborative environment. You value patience, respect, generosity, and good humour in your working relationships. Having an emerging understanding of intersectionality and gender and racial equity principles will be an asset.
