I’m a B.E. Engineering Physics student at the University of Saskatchewan (graduating May 2027) with a goal to be a serial entrepreneur. My entrepreneurial journey began in high school, where I used to dabble in various side hustles to make money, which included growing social media accounts, blogging, graphics design, web development, various forms of affiliate marketing, and newsletters. I also published a best-selling book on Amazon, which honed my ability to synthesize knowledge, engage audiences, and deliver value. I did all of this on top of working part-time ~12 hours a week as an administrative assistant & tutor at Kumon.
I chose engineering to align my skills with my entrepreneurial ambitions, as there are a lot of innovative opportunities in the tech industry. Through my coursework, I’ve developed foundational skills in problem-solving, understanding complex ideas, time management, and self-teaching difficult concepts (a lot of times, the professors aren't the best at explaining). I've also developed several technical skills, such as data analysis, programming, and mastery of various design tools. These skills were also developed through real-world experience from my internships and roles in clubs. Working with incubators like Opus has strengthened my startup mindset even more by providing me with networking opportunities, while my work experience and coursework have deepened my technical expertise.
When I’m not studying or working, I enjoy working out, playing sports, and reading books.

Hardware design for PathoBox
Our company is developing crop disease testing devices for farmers and agronomists. With our prototype development nearing completion, we are looking to optimize the electronic schematics of our device to ensure it is robust and effective in diverse agricultural environments. There are two different options based on student's skillset and their interests. Option #1 Students will engage in a detailed and hands-on hardware development process under the mentorship of PathoScan’s scientific lead. Their tasks will include: Learn and analyze PathoScan's hardware schematics for design effectiveness. Convert digital schematics into a physical prototype of the PathoBox device. Conduct testing on the prototype and identify areas for refinement. Present a final report and prototype demonstration to PathoScan founders. Option #2 Students will engage in conducting market analysis and market research in of the existing industry and the ways to market PathoBox design. The student's goal will be to figure out the design decisions we need to make for achieving a great product-market fit.
