Fueled by a desire to see change, I decided to join forces with a couple of rad mental health advocates across Canada to build a platform that helps sustain teachers and students when it comes to their mental health. Join us in this movement!
We’re the first, digital, one-stop-hub for all community, mental health, and wellbeing needs curated to educators. Check us out on City News Montreal: https://montreal.citynews.ca/video/2022/07/22/montrealer-creates-app-for-teachers-and-their-mental-health/

Content creation (Newsletter/Email Marketing)
TAPP is the first, digital, one-stop-hub for all anonymous community, mental health support, and wellness resources curated to educators. We‘re working on a few outreach items and need your help! The goal for this project is to put ourselves out there more through email marketing and storytelling and to convert more readers to users. *A strong passion for mental health and education is a huge asset for this project.

Content creation and social media management
The Teacher App aims to create a virtual one-stop-hub for all teachers and their needs. We want teachers to access the mental health services and resources they need at any given time so that they feel supported enough to be there for their students. Right now, we want to be the therapy platform teachers go to when they need support. Our goal is to bring on as many users as possible from now till end of the year using Instagram/Facebook, TikTok, and possibly integrating Pinterest taking us to 1000 by the end of December using B2C marketing. We also want to bypass 1000 followers on Instagram while you're with us. While you are with us, you would be responsible for executing and iterating on a 90-day social media plan a past intern worked on. While you can use templates we have, we want you to get creative, take risks, and have fun!

Software Development
Our team is looking for software developers to be part of the exciting project we’re working on at The Teacher App. Create back-end and front-end coding to build our Web App. Work with the team as a whole to deliver technical goals. Work closely with our designer and CEO to meet expectations and execute the vision. Working with tools and programs such as Notion, Discord, and other technical/development tools. We’re excited to work with students who can help us not only create this new and exciting product, but also take part in a movement bigger than ourselves to reach: A healthier Canada by supporting and sustaining teachers and students and their mental health. This is a great project for students to practice their development expertise, as the impact of their work on this project can be easily measured and communicated.

Website Relaunch for The Teacher App
The Teacher App is expanding its offerings and needs to relaunch its company website to reflect the introduction of new educational programs. The current website does not adequately showcase these new programs, nor does it effectively generate leads or registrations. The goal of this project is to redesign and update the website to make it more user-friendly, informative, and optimized for lead generation. This will involve updating the content, improving the user interface, and integrating new features that highlight the new programs. The project will provide learners with an opportunity to apply their web development, design, and digital marketing skills in a real-world context. Key tasks include: - Redesigning the website layout and user interface based on current assets/designs. - Updating content to include new programs/offerings. - Implementing lead generation forms and call-to-action buttons. - Testing the website for usability and functionality (Wordpress).
