Details

We would like students to help us by creating marketing plan, in addition to content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure students have a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization.

Students will be working on a marketing plan for our company to enter into the public library market in the United States, as well as content creation for our social media platforms to promote our services in the Canadian education and public library markets. Time permitting, students would work on other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools.

Deliverables

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:

  • Research the public library market in the United States
  • Evaluate recent successful user-generated campaigns in the public library sector (Canada & US)
  • Draft a marketing plan for our company to enter into the public library market (US)
  • Write posts and other content pieces
  • Create graphics using the Canva platform for our socials and outreach campaigns
  • Create a series of LinkedIn marketing campaigns, including content for the campaigns, and a campaign calendar
Mentorship

Students will work closely with the Project Manager who is supervising and available for questions. Communication will include emails and occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.
