The initial step is to establish a customer persona and niche (which is already somewhat defined), and after that establish a method to identify and streamline clients/companies around the world who would have the higher chances of conversion into a client of our financial advisory business. Our business is financial advisory for sustainable and innovative businesses.
First step is to define the exact customer persona to go after based on the market we want to reach: sustainable and innovative businesses that need financial strategy advisory.
Second step is to improve our process of identifying these customers. Where to look for these clients and criteria to define (sources, databases, countries, geographies, business size, etc.). What are the best approaches (email approaches, call approaches, which questions to ask, how to use free technology to make the process more efficient, which technologies to use) to make the conversion more efficient? How to make them see the need for financial strategy services?
I will act as the project sponsor (same situation of when companies who hire consulting firms, have a project sponsor to guide the consulting team to craft the best solution for the client). I will be able to meet them for few hours to guide them and do check points to evaluate how their project development is going and where I would like them to go next.
