International Economics (BIE) students are looking for both paid and unpaid internships, with a preference for paid experiences. Please indicate in your project submission which you are able to offer.
If you are interested in hiring a student as a Virtual Intern, please submit a project to this page indicating what students could work on for your organization. While students' duties may evolve over the course of the internship, we recommend providing a central project which the student can work on semi-independently over the internship period.
Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:
Provide a dedicated contact who is available to answer periodic emails or phone calls over the duration of the project to address students' questions.
Be available for a quick phone call with the Vancouver School of Economics Career Centre to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the International Economics students, and also to check-in midway, and upon completion.
For placements that are paid, a suggested minimum stipend is $2400 CAD.
