Student goals and capabilities

Trinity Western University’s Media + Communication (MCOM) program offers an experiential learning opportunity designed for upper-level Media and Communication students eager to gain hands-on professional experience in communication-related projects. These learners possess skills in crafting compelling narratives and utilizing digital media tools. By engaging in real-world projects, students can apply their classroom knowledge to create effective communication content that aligns with industry needs, enhancing both their practical skills and professional portfolios.

Employers are expected to maintain regular communication with the learners, provide necessary guidance and information for project execution, be virtually present for the final presentations, and offer constructive and professional feedback via the Riipen platform.
