Frontend Mobile App Developer
5 individual positions are available We are looking for a student interested in mobile app development and working with React Native, CSS and UI components. The project aims to improve app features for the companion app to which our smart glasses will connect to. Possible features include adding GPS and Google Maps integration, adding the ability to call volunteers, and redesigning UI to improve visual accessibility. Seleste is changing the assistive technology industry by developing the highest quality smart glasses product with better AI and video-calling while remaining financially accessible!

Virtual Internship Opportunity - Website Branding
4 individual positions are available Phase 1: Training Phase (about 10 hours) Students will be provided with all the background information and training in terms of the project outline and deliverables over the course of their time with us. Areas focused align with our project and will focus on research gathering and connecting students with relevant contacts for support. Phase 2: Project Execution Phase (about 70 hours) We need to develop marketing material next year, however, Seleste's brand hasn't yet been fleshed out. We need to think critically about how we need to present ourselves to our customers and come up with a brand book for Seleste. The student will understand our customers and the problem we're solving and come up with the colours, fonts, tone and overall look of our website. This may also come up with innovative ways to express our brand like audio design.

Software - Research Scientist
We are looking for a student interested in mobile app and IOT development. This project requires researching and derisking some of the new cutting-edge projects that Seleste is working on. It will include writing documentation on issues, finding and setting up calls with industry experts and reading complex research papers. This project has to do with innovations Seleste is making with our app software including finding third-party APIs to integrate with, optimizations in our video-calling and AI flow and enhancing app accessibility. Seleste is changing the assistive technology industry by developing the highest quality smart glasses product with better AI and video-calling while remaining financially accessible!

Mobile Development Accessibility Testing
4 individual positions are available We are looking for a student interested in mobile app development and working with React Native, CSS and UI components. The project aims to ensure that our app is accessible for users with vision loss which makes up the majority of our users. This will include going through our app pages using a screenreader and making sure that all components are accessible and easy to use, coming up with recommendations to improve our UX design and implementing these changes.
