Looking to elevate your organization, and bring it to the next level? Bring on students from the College of Wooster to be your student-consultants, in a project-based experience. Students will work on one main project over the course of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Students in this program/course will delve into the fundamentals of information visualization and refine their abilities to communicate data independently and collaboratively. They will utilize Tableau software to create static and interactive data visualizations, and dashboards using data from various sources. The course will cover effective storytelling, visualization analysis, data ethics, and reproducibility.

Students in this program/course will learn the foundations of information visualization and sharpen their skills in communicating using data, both individually and as part of a team. Students will use Tableau software to develop both static and interactive data visualizations and dashboards of data obtained from existing sources. Effective storytelling and analysis of visualizations, data ethics, and reproducibility will be discussed in this course.
