competitive analysis sales & marketing business strategy marketing strategy researchWith our growing desire to run educational workshops in schools across the country, we're looking to understand more about the education sector (K-12 school districts) and how we can reasonably tap into that market. With our first partnership with the Toronto District School board in place, we're hoping to determine our best next step.
Our goals for the project are:
- An understanding of how to strategically scale our work in Ontario (and possibly British Columbia, depending on project scope);
- Generate a Targeted Account List (TAL) that could help us identify 50-100 school districts that might be in greatest need of our services (an actionable list would include contact information for influencers/personnel with potential decision-making and purchasing authority), along with suggested messaging that could help us book meetings with potential school district personnel
- An understanding of what pricing structure would best allow us to create a genuine partnership with these school districts (perhaps based on # of students in the district?) while also generating enough revenue to cover basic costs.
- An analysis of our current workshop offerings and what styles and mediums could complement that work to provide a more wholesome package for school districts, including how it differentiates ourselves from potential competitors.
