The purpose of this project is to develop a new product (Loki), which would be a a react native mobile app with a nodejs backend both written in typescript. The app should allow consumers to find ratings /reviews /book /pay for service providers in their area. It should also have a geolocation based map which each service provider would show up based on the filters they are looking for such as babysitters /barbers /car mechanics /etc.

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

- Understanding of React Native +tailwind + expo go and Node.js+ typeorm+express+postgresql+aws deployment

- Understanding of Typescript

- Ability to design and develop a mobile app with a geolocation based map

- Ability to integrate the app with a backend

- Ability to create filters for service providers

- Ability to create a payment system for the app

- Ability to create a rating and review system for the app

Final deliverables should include:

- All source code.

- A written report explaining the design process and outcomes.

Will provide guidence and help students along their way in order to develop this app. And get it launched by end of Q1. Will make myself available to students through our slack chat and with weekly team syncs.
