Details

**PLEASE READ** Project Eligibility: Learners must have previous digital marketing, market research and social media content creation experience and/or education, to be eligible for this project. Learners must also be available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 3:30pm-6:30pm EST/1:30pm-4:30pmMT/12:30pm-3:30pm PDT.


Scope

We are looking for a group of Learners who have previous marketing, social media content creation skills and experience, to create compelling ads, posts, videos, reels, etc., that will target this audience using the right hashtags, phrases, etc. to increase our visibility and program registration. This content will be created for the following social media platforms Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.



Deliverables

Learners will create social media content to increase our social media content output, reach our target market, increase our visibility to them and increase our program registration, within the following initiatives:


  • Using the best social media tags, phrases, etc., to reach our target market. Specific to Instagram and Facebook.
  • Creating compelling social media ad content including but not limited to: Posts, videos, reels, etc., that are specific to Instagram and Facebook.
  • Using Canva, Instagram, Facebook and or other social media content creation tools, to create ads that will increase our visibility and further our reach to our targeted market/audience.


The learners would need experience creating content on social media platforms such as IG, Facebook and LinkedIn. They would also need to have research capabilities and knowledge on social media performance outcomes

Mentorship

MENTORSHIP AND SUPERVISION

Learners will be supervised during their internship through Zoom and other online work sharing platforms, specifically during working hours. Learners will be guided and mentored by our senior project manager along with our student Project Manager as well. They will have access to our Senior project manager, any time needed during business hours by phone/email and after business hours through email. Learners will also have the option of connecting with their student project manager for support during the duration of the internship.


Learners will be given our target market and research the best digital marketing strategies to reach them. Learners will use content creation software to then create social media ads, using the right social media tags, to reach our target market. The main goal is to reach our target market, increase our visibility to them and increase our program registration. Learners will be given access to any needed tools and software to help them complete their work and earn valuable skills.

The Building Black Youth Foundation (B.B.Y.F.), is a not for profit children's organization and social enterprise, geared to providing children cultural based learning opportunities and educational support for Black/BIPOC(but not limited to) children/youth and families across Canada. B.B.Y.F. is starting with virtual Early Childhood Development programs, supports for families and learning opportunities specifically geared towards teaching an afrocentric uplifting curriculum, building self worth through learning ancestral and historical knowledge. Our mission at Building Black Youth Foundation(B.B.Y.F.), is to empower our Black/BIPOC(but not limited to) children/youth, help them build their self worth and self belief, through learning uplifting historical, cultural knowledge. We know that positive cultural reinforcement from a young age, greatly increases the process of building self worth within children, as well as supports leading them in the right direction towards a great future.
