Our Nonprofit organization actively promotes, to improve the access to skillfully-delivered mindfulness programs and practices in all spaces, for all persons living in Canada.

We want to better understand each province's and territory's practices, regarding standards,

legislation etc., in regards to their mindfulness programs and practices, so MCC can play an advocacy role in promoting access to Canadian programs that are skillfully facilitated. We also want to map where these skillfully programs are located.

We would like to collaborate with a student to conduct this Mapping project.

This will involve several different steps for the student, including:

  • Familiarizing themselves with our Nonprofit organization's mission, vision, and values, plus what we have done so far.
  • Mapping and documenting programs in each province and territory of Canada, based on MCC's website outline.
  • Providing a creditable, trustworthy chart and write up of the overall findings.

Deliverables

By the end of the project, the student should demonstrate:

  • Knowledge of our organization, and what we are about
  • An understanding of our target market and why we did this mapping project
  • Increased knowledge about Mindfulness, how it's delivered and the enviroment it's delivered in across the provinces and territories of Canada.

Final deliverables should include

  • A final report.
  • A presentation.
Mentorship

Student will connect directly with MCC staff for mentorship throughout the project.

We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

  • Our services and why we have created this project for our organization.
  • Our current understanding of the Mindfulness community
  • Input on choices, problems or anything else the student might encounter.
