Our data analysis and bookkeeping system is less than desired, and we require some fresh eyes to make improvements
We would like to work with an individual intern (or small team) who can assess our current methods of keeping track of our finances and find ways to dramatically improve.
Areas of interest include:
- Data analysis - how we are assessing ad campaign success rate, projecting future sales, projecting cash flow, monitoring web traffic
- Bookkeeping and financial organization improvement - help us develop better methods for recording incoming and outgoing funds
- Developing secure ways to store and protect sensitive customer data.
We are highly flexible and happy to accept internships for adjacent topics.
- Make robust recommendations on how to improve our systems (and implement the changes if the scope of the project allows for it)
Examples:
- Create new excel templates to help us better record financial data
- Develop a system for projecting future COGs and revenue
Providing specialized, in-depth knowledge and general industry insights for a comprehensive understanding.
Sharing knowledge in specific technical skills, techniques, methodologies required for the project.
Direct involvement in project tasks, offering guidance, and demonstrating techniques.
Providing access to necessary tools, software, and resources required for project completion.
Scheduled check-ins to discuss progress, address challenges, and provide feedback.
