The selected individual will play a crucial role in supporting ongoing meetings, coordinating team efforts, identifying funding opportunities, and driving key conversations with partners.

This project aims to secure funding through a targeted application process, with a submission deadline in April.


This role will be essential in keeping the team on track and ensuring a seamless and well-organized funding application process.


Key Responsibilities:


Meeting Coordination & Accountability:

  • Schedule and set up meetings, ensuring all relevant stakeholders are invited.
  • Take comprehensive notes during meetings and track action items.
  • Follow up with team members to ensure tasks and commitments are completed in a timely manner.

Funding Opportunity Research & Management:

  • Identify and analyze relevant funding opportunities.
  • Gather key requirements and deadlines for targeted funding applications.
  • Manage the preparation and submission of the funding application.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:

  • Facilitate discussions with partners to gather essential input and align objectives.
  • Communicate key updates and deadlines to the team.
  • Ensure clarity in roles and responsibilities among stakeholders to streamline the application process.

Requirements & Skills:


  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience in grant writing or funding applications.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Research skills to identify relevant funding opportunities.
  • Ability to track and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in document preparation and project coordination.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in application submission.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and partners.


Deliverables

Deliverables:

  • Regular meeting notes and action item tracking.
  • A compiled list of funding opportunities with relevant details.
  • A well-prepared and organized funding application by the April deadline.
  • Continuous updates and follow-ups with partners and team members.

Timeline:

  • February-March: Research funding opportunities, initiate conversations with partners, and coordinate meetings.
  • March-April: Manage the application process, ensure all necessary information is gathered, and finalize the submission.
  • April: Submit the funding application and conduct post-submission follow-up.

Success Metrics:

  • Completion and submission of a high-quality funding application.
  • Effective coordination of meetings and tracking of action items.
  • Timely follow-ups with team members to ensure accountability.
  • Engagement and alignment of partners to support the application process.
