Details

Our aim is to streamline events, craft attractive posters, formulate engaging social media content, and deeply connect with Victoria BC's music community. We are driven by Quadratic Sound's vision to offer easy-access services and resources to the passionate musicians in our locale.

Deliverables

Upon the culmination of this project, students should exhibit:

  • A profound grasp of Quadratic Sound's vision and offerings
  • Mastery in event management encompassing strategizing, financial planning, and outreach.
  • Expertise in poster creation focusing on aesthetics, font usage, and color harmonization.
  • Proficiency in generating social media content, which includes designing, sharing and increasing viewership.
  • Aid in building community relationships through proactive engagement, forging ties, and excellent interaction.
Mentorship

It's pivotal for us that students not only undertake this project but also extract the most learning from it. Regular consultations with the overseeing mentor will be arranged, where students can present their drafts, gain constructive feedback, and reorient their methods if needed.

Besides the predetermined meetings, the mentor and our seasoned events crew will be available for impromptu support. They can reach out via Discord, get insightful articles or guides, or even gain feedback on collaborative platforms like Google Docs. This ensures students always have a guiding light throughout the project journey.

Students will also be familiarized with essential digital tools, including:

  • Vagaro
  • Google Suite
  • Canva
  • Facebook
  • Instagram
