Details

Ancestral Hands Midwives (AHM) aims to enhance patient care and safety by developing AHM Care Connect, an AI-driven triage system. The primary goal is to provide 24/7 access to midwifery support, guiding clients on whether to seek urgent care or wait to contact their provider. This system is designed to improve patient safety, reduce unnecessary ER visits, and enhance overall care satisfaction. The project will involve creating a user-friendly interface, integrating AI algorithms for accurate triage, and ensuring data privacy and security. The learners will apply their classroom knowledge in AI, healthcare systems, and user experience design to develop a functional prototype.

Deliverables

- A functional prototype of the AI-driven triage system.

- A user-friendly interface for clients to interact with the system.

- Documentation detailing the AI algorithms used for triage.

- A report on data privacy and security measures implemented.

- A presentation summarizing the project outcomes and future recommendations.
