Details

The goal of this project is to take Quadratic Sound's current newsletter, which is currently a summary of their events for the month, and revamp it. They have close to 3000 members of our community and want to be updating them on the new projects rolling into the new year. The project will involve studying Quadratic Sound's business and understanding the projects they are just beginning to expand on (band rehearsals, recording studio, affordable community nights on Thursdays, and Workshop Wednesdays). The project will also involve putting together a marketing proposal for what types of components of a newsletter most impact the viewer/what it should look like, and what Quadratic Sound can add to their newsletter to improve it via their new projects. Once the project proposal is approved, the student will begin drafting Quadratic Sound's new and improved newsletter via Canva that will begin in January.

Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

- Understanding of Quadratic Sound's business and projects.

- A marketing proposal outlining what types of components of a newsletter most impact the viewer/what it should look like, and what Quadratic Sound can add to their newsletter to improve it via their new projects.

- A new and improved newsletter via Canva that will begin in January.

Mentorship

It's pivotal for us that students not only undertake this project but also extract the most learning from it. Regular consultations with the overseeing mentor will be arranged, where students can present their drafts, gain constructive feedback, and reorient their methods if needed.

Besides the predetermined meetings, the mentor and our seasoned events crew will be available for impromptu support. They can reach out via Discord, get insightful articles or guides, or even gain feedback on collaborative platforms like Google Docs. This ensures students always have a guiding light throughout the project journey.

Students will also be familiarized with essential digital tools to thoroughly understand our businesses values, including:
