Renewable energy products are key to a greener future but their adoption remains a challenge. We’re building an engaged community of people who own different renewable energy products such as solar panels and roofs, EVs, eco homes and other clean products.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Renewable energy product owners create a profile on “peopleofrenewable.energy” (coming soon)
  2. Their profiles get listed on an interactive map where others will be able to discover / connect with them.
  3. Through this platform, people can discover and learn about renewable energy products right in their local community.

Example:

John sets up solar roofing to power his home. He’s passionate about renewable energy and is eager to share with his neighbours. By creating a profile on the site, he's discoverable on the interactive map. Marry, living a couple of blocks away and interested in shifting to solar roofing, sees that John has one. She proceeds to connect with him virtually or in-person.

Deliverables
  • Support in nailing down the mission and value proposition of this project,
  • Build a communication and marketing strategy to grow the community,
  • Bring visibility to the platform by sharing in relevant communities on Reddit, Facebook, Discord, etc,
  • Promote the community and mission across social channels and relevant organizations,
  • Come up with other creative initiatives that can help bring visibility to the community.
Mentorship

The Moast team is directly available to provide hands on support to the student(s) throughout this project. We believe in the spirit of collaboration and will ensure we have all the proper communication and support channels in place. In addition, any tools required to complete the work like access to design / editor programs will be provided.

Our mission with this project is to help people adopt renewable energy so we can create a greener planet faster!
