typescript component libraries github sass react.js (javascript library) full stack development virtual teams version control quality assurance cascading style sheets (css)Our web application is a conversation tool for sending asynchronous screen/video recordings between employees in remote/distributed teams instead of needing to set up a Zoom meeting.
We would like students to focus on:
- Quality assurance, fixing bugs to make the application more performant and user-friendly, and supporting initial users to onboard and get acquainted with the application
- Either full-stack, front-end, or back-end development
- Applying previous knowledge of or learning some of the following on the job: React, TypeScript, AWS, Express, Electron, CSS/Sass, UI libraries/kits (subject to change).
The final deliverables should take the form of a final report and presentation including:
- Clean, readable, and reusable code following good software development practices.
- The source code for the system, preferably in a source control system such as Git.
- Documentation around models and attributes used to model any data.
- Demo of assigned deliverables (to be done on GitHub)
Students will connect directly with the technical leadership team for mentorship throughout the project.
