For the portfolio in our holding company, we would like students to come with a fresh pair of eyes to help identify a new potential acquisition target based on the portfolio diversity. We will take the input and try to participate in potential angel investment or pre-seed / Series A deals based on the analysis.

Deliverable 1: Find and help shortlist 3 up and coming companies from Angelist.

• You will be responsible for screening some of our deal flow by participating in company pitches and conducting initial analysis
• Collect and analyze data from primary and secondary sources

Deliverable 2: Conduct a top down analysis and synthesize a deep dive framework on one of the target companies from Deliverable 1 to present to the investment committee

• Draw insights from LinkedIn, interviews, market research, company materials, and other research to make a recommendation.
• Create appendix slide with possible Q&A that will be asked
• Lead the presentation creation process and share with the investment committee

We are focused on supporting student development in critical and deep thinking. There will be a step by step process in the investment process where we will teach and onboard the skills necessary to make the right investment decisions. Our past experience includes founders with multiple exits and real investment experience.
