Introduction

Billy's Cookies, a Toronto-based game studio under Dough Dough Digital Inc., is expanding the reach of our music puzzle game "Make a Hit!" by localizing it into multiple languages. We are seeking a skilled Localization Team to translate all in-game text into Spanish, French, Portuguese, and German. Your expertise will ensure the game resonates with a global audience while maintaining its original charm and accessibility.

Note: We are hiring one specialist per language. Please apply for the language you are most proficient in—you do not need to speak all four required languages.

Responsibilities

• Translate all text elements within "Make a Hit!", including menus, dialogue, instructions, and user interface components, into Spanish, French, Portuguese, and German.
• Adapt translations to reflect cultural nuances, ensuring they align with the tone and intent of the original English text.
• Perform quality checks to verify accuracy, consistency, and proper formatting in each language.

Deliverables

• Fully translated text for all in-game elements in Spanish, French, Portuguese, and German.
• A glossary of key terms and phrases in each language to ensure consistency across translations.
• Documentation of any cultural adaptations or translation challenges encountered.
• Finalized text files ready for implementation and testing within the game.
