Details

We are looking for a student with excellent organizational skills to manage the content that we create. Content will primarily be for blog posts, email marketing, brand stories, books, and podcasts. There will be the opportunity to write for some projects for students interested in writing.

Primary tasks include:

  • liaise with/manage writers
  • schedule blog posts for publication
  • ensure all copy is fully proofed and edited before publication
  • ensure all tags, metadata, and descriptive blurbs (short and long) are associated with the post
  • ensure there are approved graphics for each post
  • optimize assets (images/video/audio files) for each channel/platform where written content will be published
  • coordinate written content (and associated assets such as images/video/audio) between all the channels/platforms (e.g. blog, Medium, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook etc.)
  • edit/optimize content/tags/links for each piece of written content depending on the channel/platform
  • manage text for press releases
  • manage text for one-sheets
  • manage text for book jacket blurbs
  • manage and distribute written communications materials as needed to Digital Asset Manager marketing and design teams so that everyone has the approved versions of all

The student will report directly to our senior editor and have access to all team members and resources.

Mentorship

We have a weekly team call and project calls during the week. We will offer 1-on-1 time with the students for mentorship and providing feedback. As personal development sits at the core of our company, we are very keen to help the people who work with us grow from the experience.
