I was assigned to this project by the ICTC team as part of completing the 'Beyond the Cloud' program for DevOps. While the project itself did not have predefined DevOps tasks, I took the initiative to define and implement them. Fortunately, my team and the employer were supportive and gave me the freedom to carry out these tasks, which allowed me to apply my DevOps and cloud computing skills. A highlight of my experience was that the employer provided us with access to all the necessary tools in their environment, such as GitHub, Jira, Confluence, and Slack, which enabled effective collaboration with my team. We followed a scrum approach, and the project included a Gantt chart for tracking progress. Overall, I’m happy to have been part of this project.
