It was such a pleasure working with Dr. Abidemi Fasanmi and her students this term. Dr. Fasanmi was incredible to collaborate with — sharp, passionate about human rights, and genuinely committed to supporting good scholarship. Her thoughtfulness and enthusiasm made the entire process feel energizing. Her students conducted research on coercive control and its health impacts, exploring complex and often overlooked dynamics with real sensitivity and depth. They presented their findings in well-structured PowerPoints and followed up with research papers that reflected a serious effort to engage with the subject matter.
