My project with drastic drinks was fun and interesting. I enjoyed the diversity of tasks I was assigned and I believe that Simrit provides valuable feedback. In many cases, the feedback she gave me for my submissions resulted in an overall better product. I learned a great deal about product planning and the regulatory processes involved in bringing a beverage to market. While the content was enjoyable, I do believe that the project could benefit from a structural reform. Personally, riipen projects I worked on that had a clear structure in terms of number of tasks to be completed and the allotted time required per task allowed for more efficient work. I believe the drastic drinks project could benefit from implementing something similar. I'm sure Simrit had an idea of this already but I believe if it was shared prior to the project starting in some form of orientation, that would have been immensely better. Overall, I had a great experience and I believe many students will improve their critical thinking and time management skills working with Simrit.
