We are thrilled to welcome business owners to an exciting opportunity to collaborate with Alma College and its creative, forward-thinking students in the field of UI & UX Design.


In our UI & UX Design course, students explore the intricacies of user interface and user experience design. Through rigorous coursework, they hone their skills in conducting user-centric research and crafting design concepts that elevate the user's experience. Guided by a structured design process framework, our students are poised to transform your concepts into tangible design solutions.

Expected outcomes and deliverables

Deliverables are negotiable, and will seek to align the needs of the learners and the organization. 


Some final project deliverables might include: 

  1. A 10-15 minute presentation on key findings and recommendations
  2. A detailed report including their research, analysis, insights and recommendations

Project Examples

Requirements

Learners in groups of 3-5 will work with your company to identify your needs and provide actionable recommendations, based on their in-depth research and analysis.


Project activities that learners can complete may include, but are not limited to: 

  • Designing elements and principles in relation to two-dimensional composition, visual design and typography.
  • Performing UI/UX design audits
  • Using software such as Figma and Adobe XD to complete your UX and UI design needs
  • Conducting website and platform redesigns
  • Communicating research findings, concepts, and proposals through the appropriate means
  • Completing new feature research, testing, and design mockups
