Students are seeking opportunities to work collaboratively and share different insights into business problems with business partners from anywhere. Our collaboration aims to increase students' awareness of how the skills and information learned at university apply to the business world outside of the classroom. As a result, we are seeking to facilitate student engagement with the public and private sectors during the students' time in the degree. These students are 1st and 2nd year undergraduate students in their beginning year of study. The virtual volunteer opportunity will prepare them better to gain exposure to real life business problems in the workforce and have developed problem solving skills which can be applied to the identification of innovative solutions to account and financial problems.

Project deliverables will vary depending on the scope of the project. Students will complete 15 - 60 hours of volunteer placement by the end of November, 2021. Examples of deliverables include but are not limited to:

• financial worksheets or financial statements
• accounting records
• data analysis spreadsheets
• budgets
