WIL at Lakehead's top business students are available to work virtually on paid projects with partner organizations and paid full-time or part-time internships.
Students are available to work in all sectors and are carefully selected to ensure that organizations get our very best.
WIL at Lakehead has a rolling recruitment intake for part-time and full-time internships or short term projects for upper year Faculty of Business Administration Students
Wage subsidy funding may be available to Canadian employers of between 50 - 70 % of wages (maximum $5000 - $7000)

Students
Deliverables are negotiated between the organization, WIL at Lakehead and the student(s). Deliverables are customized based on the project proposed by the organization and the learning goals of the student.

Requirements
Students can be employed individually or as multi-disciplinary teams for terms ranging from short-term projects, to part-time or full-time internships.
Students are available to work in all sectors.
Student Skill Sets:
Accounting & Finance
Students have a wide array of skills including (but not limited to) budgeting, accounting, analysis, forecasting, and auditing
Management & Planning
Students are capable of management in a large range of scenarios, such as retail, small business, office management, logistics, operations, analysis, and more
Marketing & Communications
Students can use skills to generate campaigns, brand development, social media identities, and customer surveys.
Project Management
Students can work on process improvements, modelling, and mapping. They can develop implementation plans, infrastructure planning, business analysis, and quality control.
Human Resources
Students an work on recruitment, training, employee relations, performance management, and more.
Event Management
Students can plan and execute events.
