researchAre you eager to make a meaningful impact on our environment while giving students a unique opportunity to apply their ecological knowledge? We invite you to collaborate with Allegheny College's Field Ecology and Conservation students.
Our Field Ecology and Conservation program is designed to be a comprehensive study of ecological field principles and techniques, with a specific focus on terrestrial animals and plants in their natural environment, considering human influences. Our students are equipped with the skills to explore and address ecological questions using primary literature and student-driven field research. They develop testable hypotheses, design experiments, collect, analyze, and report ecological data.
