Promotional Video Production for Tutoring Company

Main Objective of the Project: The primary goal of this project is to create a promotional video that will be used to enhance the visibility and appeal of our tutoring business, The Progressive Centre. This video will feature interviews with the owner, two tutors, and one or two families who have benefited from our services. The students will script, produce, and edit this video to highlight our organization’s strong culture and values, aiming to attract new clients and reinforce our brand image. In today's competitive market, it is crucial for businesses to distinguish themselves to attract and retain clients. The Progressive Centre aims to achieve this by creating a vibrant, compelling promotional video. Through this project, students will address the challenge of effectively communicating our unique offerings and the positive impact we have on our students and their families. By the end of the project, students are expected to produce a polished promotional video that captures the essence of our tutoring business and resonates with our target audience. Final Deliverables: A completed 5-7 minute promotional video ready to be shared with potential clients and featured on our website and social media platforms.

Course Video Creation for Tutoring Company

Company Background: The Progressive Centre has been providing high-quality math and science tutoring services to students for many years. We are dedicated to exploring innovative ways to enhance our educational offerings and engage students through various mediums, including social media. Project Overview: We are excited to collaborate with student interns to create a series of educational videos for our upcoming math and science summer course, scheduled for July and August. These videos will be designed for students in grades 7, 8, and 9 math, as well as grade 11 chemistry and physics, following the Ontario curriculum. The completed videos will be featured on our website and shared through email campaigns to reach a wider audience. They will also be used in the course for students. Project Steps: Understanding the Curriculum and Audience: Familiarize yourself with the Ontario curriculum for grades 7, 8, and 9 math, and grade 11 chemistry and physics. Please note: students who have direct experience with the Ontario math and/or curriculum will be given preference Understand our target audience, which includes students and parents in Ontario. Content Development: Create videos that range in length from 5-10 mins long that teach math and/or science concepts to students Create clear, engaging videos that explain the math and science concepts in an easy-to-understand manner. Video Production: Record and edit high-quality videos that demonstrate the concepts using visual aids, examples, and explanations. Ensure the videos adhere to our brand guidelines and maintain a consistent style.

Our company provides tutoring for students in math and science up to grade 12. Students will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge in real-world contexts, enhance their writing and marketing skills, and contribute to the growth of an educational platform. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Introduction to The Progressive Centre : Students will be given an overview of The Progressive Centre's goals, target market, and the range of educational services and workshops we provide. This will include an insight into our teaching philosophy, approach to learning, and the impact we aim to have on our students' educational journeys. Market Research and Topic Selection : Participants will conduct research to understand current trends in education, with a focus on math and science topics, study skills, and online learning. Based on this research, students will recommend engaging and relevant topics for our blog that would appeal to our target audience, primarily parents and school-aged children. Content Creation : Students will draft informative and engaging blog posts on selected topics. These posts should not only reflect The Progressive Centre's expertise in education but also offer value to our readers, such as tips, strategies, and insights into effective learning. Revision and Feedback : Drafted blog posts will undergo a review process where students will receive constructive feedback from our team. Students will then revise their work accordingly, ensuring the final posts are polished and aligned with our content standards. (Bonus) Marketing Strategy Recommendations : As an additional challenge, students can propose innovative strategies to market the blog content. This may include social media promotion, email marketing, partnerships with educational influencers, or other creative approaches to increase blog visibility and engagement. By the end of the project, students will have created a series of high-quality blog posts ready for publication on The Progressive Centre's website. These posts should not only reflect the students' understanding of the subjects but also their ability to engage with the target audience effectively. Furthermore, students will gain valuable experience in content creation, digital marketing, and the application of their academic knowledge in a practical setting.

Customer Engagement Emails for Tutoring Company

The Progressive Centre is a tutoring agency based in Durham Region, ON. It provides 1-on-1 or group tutoring for students in grades 1-12. The Progressive Centre only works with math and science and the majority of our clients are high school students. We hope to revamp our email marketing to increase engagement with our existing target audience. Currently we use Hubspot to send our emails to customers. Currently our target market includes parents with school aged children. Our current email campaigns are not consistent and usually have less than 20% open rate. We would like to increase this to at least 40% if possible. We believe with regular, engaging campaigns, we can achieve this goal. We would like to collaborate with students to create new email campaigns. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our target market, services. Recommending new email campaigns and drafting emails. Currently our campaigns exist of information about tutoring or providing educational content for parents for their children. For example, our last campaign provided study tips to help students with their math and science emails. Considering the subject line, clarity, tone, and length of our emails. Frequency and Timing Analysis: Determine the best times and frequency for sending emails to maximize engagement and avoid over-saturation Bonus steps in the process would also include: Recommending email marketing tools. Creating a email marketing calendar that has dates and emails to be sent.

Website Development and Digital Marketing for Tutoring Company

Our aim for this project to increase our presence online by revamping our currently website that is hosted on Go Daddy. We ultimately would like to move over to a Word Press site. We would like to work with students to develop a new website that is easy to maintain while providing an appealing interface for potential clients. We ultimately would like to move over from GoDaddy to a Word Press site. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Researching different companies and making recommendations on others how our our website can be improved site-building tools on Wordpress and their associated advantages / disadvantages. Conducting a needs analysis to determine which Wordpress themes/plugins is most suitable. Building a website, with our assistance in providing the content Providing company owner training on updating and maintaining the website. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Rewriting website copy with a focus on SEO Providing a competitive analysis of how our company is doing compared to others in the same industry.
